Discover how Viventis Microscopy achieved over 46,000 impressions and 1,200 followers
in 10 months on social media

Introduction

Over a 10-month project, we collaborated with Viventis Microscopy to enhance their social media presence to enable enhanced brand visibility and credibility.

Our work began with the creation of their LinkedIn page, which served as the foundation for their social media efforts. We also used Twitter to help grow their existing community and connect with partners and collaborators.

To ensure consistent and engaging content, we worked closely with Viventis to develop a social media strategy that identified relevant topics and determined the optimal format for their content.

Through ongoing guidance and support, we helped Viventis establish a strong and effective social media presence, with targeted followers, falling within their target customer personas.

Project aims

With a website and product launch on the horizon, Viventis Microscopy were looking to establish a platform to effectively promote these new activities.

New content should effectively engage the target audience – with likes, comments and reshares where necessary to aid the growth of social media followers.

The new content and followers to their LinkedIn page then means the company is reaching more people with enhanced credibility – working towards an online community of people engaged in the work of Viventis Microscopy.

Some key highlights:

  • A video of developing Hydra received over 2,000 video views and 63 likes on LinkedIn
  • One brain organoids video tweet that received 48 likes with 7,793 impressions. The equivalent post on LinkedIn recieved 106 likes with over 3,000 video views.
  • Launch of the new LS2 Live tweet that received over 10,000 impressions alone
  • A video of developing brain organoids recieved 70 likes and nearly 2,000 video views!

Generated content

One of the key factors to any social media campaign is to ensure that posted content is of high quality, reflective of the new brand that the company is looking to develop. LinkedIn offers different content formats. These work best to communicate different types of thoughts and ideas. We were able to advise Viventis Microscopy on the best formats for each item of content and the time to post for optimal success.

Interaction & post engagement

It’s important with any social media campaign to look at all your available metrics, rather than simply the increase in followers.  After each post, we were able to apply our learnings from the previous content, such as reducing the duration of videos, the time content was posted and more.

Targeted growth of social media followers

One crucial part of developing credibility on social media is to develop a significant number of followers, so that anyone visiting your page can see there is clearly interest for your products and services. In less than a year, we were able to grow Viventis Microscopy’s page followers from 0 to over 1,000.

Many companies may believe that increases in followers could be employees, or even competition wanting to stay up to date with the latest from their business.

Our methods ensures the majority of your new followers are targeted to your specific customer personas. We are able to use a semi-automated method to export a list of people from LinkedIn, matching specific criteria such as job title, interests, seniority and more.

About Viventis Microscopy

Viventis Microscopy is a Swiss-based company that specializes in the development of light sheet microscopes. In collaboration with the laboratory of Prisca Liberali at the Friedrich Miescher Institute in Basel, Viventis Microscopy began developing its first microscope prototype in 2016.

This prototype was used to image the development of intestinal organoids from a single cell for the first time in Liberali’s lab, as published in Nature in 2019. Since its incorporation in 2017, Viventis Microscopy has established itself as a reputable player in the light microscopy community, having provided its first commercial product, LS1 Live, to top research institutes across Europe.

Viventis Microscopy is poised to shape the future of light sheet imaging for stem cell/organoids and developmental biology research.
